Two workshops will be offered that day.

-Beginner Kickboxing Class : From 1:00PM to 2:30PM
Content : Basic notions, physical conditioning, Q&A session.

-Break from 2:30PM to 3:30PM

-Intermediate Kickboxing Class : From 3:30PM to 6:00PM
Content : Fighting techniques and strategies (for Solo and Partner training); Advice on physical AND mental preparation for fights, Q&A session and much more!

Brief Bio
Jean-Yves Thériault is a Canadian martial icon. He won the PKA Middleweight World title (Full-contact karate) in 1980, and held the championship for a record of 15 years. His propensity to knock challengers out and his cold dispassionate stare gave him the nickname of “the Iceman”. He also won world titles in both the ISKA and PKC associations.
Mr. Thériault is an ambassador and a world-class promoter for the sport of kickboxing. He is giving young fighters an opportunity to test their mettle in the "Iceman Amateur Kickboxing Circuit".
Jean-Yves Thériault fought 76 fights from June 1976 to December 1995. Of those fights, 69 were wins (61 knockouts), 6 were losses, and 1 was a draw. Thériault was full-contact World Champion 23 times.
